Hi my name is Antonio Gaeta. I am a therapist who specializes in trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, and addiction. I provide both in person therapy at our office in Carmel and virtual therapy to anyone in Indiana.
Using a combination of therapies like EMDR, CBT, and DBT, I have helped many people process trauma and work through challenges like anxiety and depression.
Using ACT and focusing on building life skills, I help neurodivergent folks become more comfortable with challenges that can make days overstimulating and difficult to manage.
I also have multiple years of experience working with individuals struggling with addiction and in early recovery.
Of course, one of the most important parts of therapy is your relationship with your therapist. I enjoy having the chance of talking briefly before the first appointment to make sure that we are a good fit for one another. Reach out if you are seeking help or if you are interested in learning more about the work we can do together! Click the Let’s Talk button below to fill out our contact form and I will email or call you. I look forward to talking with you!

Background
I started my academic journey at the University of Michigan where I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Master’s Degree in Social Work. While there, I held an internship in Detroit at a private practice where I got experience working one-on-one with individuals and some experience working with couples. From there, I moved to Indianapolis where I got my first full-time job working at a group practice and really began to hone my skills as a clinician. While there, I got experience working with individuals 13 and older navigating neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, addiction, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar disorder.
Most recently, I worked at a substance use recovery center where I had the privilege to work with individuals struggling with addiction and in early recovery. While there, I gained more knowledge and experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and a combination of these to help people reach their unique individual goals for their respective sober journeys.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and pets. I also enjoy watching football, playing games, and watching movies.
